William Parra Cid

William is a music education student at Portland State University. He has been playing music since he was 9 years old. His main instrument is the trumpet and has recently picked up classical and jazz piano and has started playing the cello! He listens to all types of music but his favorites are romantic piano and jazz ballads.

 

William has performed all across Portland including some of Portland’s Five like the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, The Newark Theatre and The Keller Auditorium. He has opened for world renowned musicians and performers. He also had the opportunity to play the national anthem for the Portland Trail Blazers. 

 

When he is not doing music related activities he enjoys making baked goods and food for his family and friends. (He especially likes french patisserie)
