  • Hi! My name is Sarah. I am the Bilingual Program Coordinator here at YMP! I have been singing and writing music since the age of 10. I performed all through middle school, high school, and college. One of my biggest passions is using music as a tool to raise awareness for different causes such as social justice and mental health. This includes partnering with numerous artist and non-profits such as The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention to host benefit concerts and raise funds and educate the community on various topics.

After getting a degree in the Arts from a University in Hawai’i, I became a Youth Coordinator for a nonprofit dedicated to empowering families in poverty. This involved a lot of social work, and doing life with families living in a neighborhood filled with gun violence, drugs, and gang activity. One of the most rewarding things I got to do was provide students with different avenues of arts and help them discover their passions- such as a music production!

I am excited about the mission of Youth Music Project and look forward to growing with the YMP community!

YMP is CLOSED Thursday, February 13th due to forecasted hazardous travel conditions.
