Katryn Bruce | Instructor Bio

Katryn studied Music Education and Cello Performance at Northern Arizona University. Although her main squeeze is cello, she also plays violin, viola, piano, ukulele, and a really mean egg shaker. Her formal training includes Suzuki Method as well as various traditional methods. Katryn has taught nearly every age from babyhood to retirement. She fell in love with the 5-and-under crowd during her Suzuki days and is excited to bring her love of littles to YMP.

Currently, Katryn teaches violin and early childhood classes at YMP. When she’s not teaching, you can usually find her wrangling her two young kids or making a mess in the kitchen.
