Jordan began his musical ventures early in life. After incessantly banging on pots, pans and everything else with chopsticks since he could walk, a small drum set was procured at the age of three.  Since then, music has been a central force for Jordan.

Over the years performance and teaching has been a main stay. The love for sharing and learning music continues to grow with each passing year.

Teaching philosophy:
It’s important to me that students feel inspired to learn about the music that they’re interested in while also being open to learning things outside of that box. I believe the most affective way for a student to learn is to help them create consistent practicing habits that will allow them to witness their progress and inspire them to play outside of the lesson room as much as they can. I’ve been teaching and performing for over 25 years. I’ve been at YMP since May of 2024. All I expect from my students is a willingness to listen, to feel comfortable asking questions and to give themselves a chance to become familiar with the process of learning an instrument.
