Bethany Horton | Instructor Bio

I have been playing piano for 15 years, and teaching for over 6 years.  I am currently enrolled in Clackamas Community College for a degree in music performance and technology.  My favorite part about  teaching is the “ah ha!” moments.  To see someone either understand something new, or be filled with joy because they learned a new skill is the most rewarding feeling a teacher can have.  I love how music brings people of all different cultures and walks of life together. 

You can often find me listening to Childish Gambino, Anderson .Paak, Nina Simone, Lauryn Hill, film scores, and anything Beyoncé.
