Rock Band

YMP offers two different Rock Band options:

Introduction to Rock Band

Does your child lip-sync to Zeppelin, Rush or the Rolling Stones?  Can they head bang with the best of them?  Give your aspiring rock star the gift of Rock Band and help them unleash their inner performer!  This 8 week group class is a great opportunity for non-experienced and beginner musicians (boys and girls) to form bands in a specific genre (country, rock or pop) and work together under the guidance of a YMP Band Coach.  Rockers will have one hour of band practice a week and will perform at YMP’s killer rock show in June!  Register for Rock Band now and receive 50% off another YMP group class!

Rock Band, Some Experience / Returning

Is your student ready to rock harder and louder?  Rock band for students with some experience is your ticket to greater success.  Students (boys and girls) who have previously played in a band at YMP (and those with some experience) are invited to sign up for this class.  Students will be encouraged to play harder songs and works as a cohesive unit.  Rock bands will perform in a final recital in June.  Register for Rock Band now and receive 50% off another YMP group class!

Intermediate / Advanced Rock Band

Are your musicians ready to rock?  Do they have two or more years’ experience with their instruments?  Are they ready to jam with a band?  Then this rock band is for them.  Singers, guitarists, bassists, pianists and more are welcome to join this class.  Students (boys and girls) will be encouraged to play harder songs and work as a cohesive unit.  Rock bands will perform in a final recital in June.
