Volunteers are a critical component of the Youth Music Project’s music making machine. We need volunteers to help in classes as teacher’s assistants, to greet students and visitors at the front desk, to repair instruments, and to help out in our summer camps. While musical ability isn’t required for all of our volunteer positions, every volunteer must go through a strict background check before starting work. Volunteers for teaching assistant positions must be able to commit for a minimum of 6 months and summer camp volunteers must be able to commit for at least one month (preferably more).
